You can use the Tasks App to report supplies that are running low or missing while completing an assigned job. You can also offer to purchase replacement supplies before your next visit and request reimbursement from your host.
Your supply reports appear in the host's Inventory section in Hospitable, helping them keep track of what each property needs.
Beta availability: Supply reporting, restocking, and reimbursements are currently available to Beta users only. These features will become available to more users over the coming weeks.
Report Supplies During a Task
You can report supplies from any task assigned to you in the Tasks App.
Open your assigned job in the Tasks App.
Scroll to the Supplies section.
Tap the microphone to describe the supplies you see, or type your report instead.
Review the generated list of supplies and their levels.
Edit any items that need correcting, or add items that weren't captured.
Optionally, upload photos to provide more information.
Submit your report.
Each item is automatically marked as:
Good: There is enough of the supply.
Low: The supply is running low.
Empty: The supply has run out.
You can change these levels before submitting your report.

Report Supplies Using Your Preferred Language
You can describe supplies in any language supported by the reporting feature.
Your report appears in your app language, while the host sees the information translated into their language.
You can also mention quantities, such as "10 toilet rolls left," to include them in your report.
Add Photos and Notes
You can upload photos to show the condition or quantity of supplies.
Information that doesn't belong to tracked consumable supplies, such as towels, linens, or property issues, is included in the report's Notes section.
Durable items, such as towels and linens, are not currently tracked as Inventory items. Notes help your host see this information without adding it to the supply list.
Update a Supply Report
You can submit multiple supply reports for the same task.
For example, if your host delivers additional supplies while you're cleaning, you can submit another report to reflect the updated levels.

Offer to Restock Supplies
After submitting a supply report, you may see the question Can you bring these on your next visit?
This lets you offer to purchase supplies that are running low or have run out.
Only items marked Low or Empty appear in the restocking step.
You can offer to restock the supplies or submit the report without offering to purchase anything.
The restocking option appears only when you have an upcoming task at the property.
Reporting low or missing supplies does not mean you're required to purchase them. You can submit a supply report without offering to restock.
Get Approval Before Your First Purchase
The first time you offer to restock supplies for a particular host, that host must approve your offer before you purchase the items.
Wait for approval before proceeding with the purchase.
Purchase Supplies and Keep Your Receipt
Once your restocking offer is approved, you can purchase the supplies from a physical store or online.
Keep the receipt or order confirmation so you can upload it to the Tasks App.
Keep receipts for all purchases you want reimbursed. Your host will use the purchase details to review the expense.
Upload Your Receipt
When you return to the property for your next task:
Open the assigned job in the Tasks App.
Open the restocking section at the top of the task.
Upload a photo of your receipt. For a long online order, you can upload multiple screenshots as one receipt.
Review the purchased items identified from the receipt.
Confirm or correct the items matched to your restocking request.
Confirm the purchase breakdown.
Hospitable automatically matches purchased items to the supplies you offered to restock.
If an item isn't matched correctly, you can identify it manually.
If you purchased supplies from multiple stores, you can upload additional receipts.

Get Reimbursed for Supplies
After submitting your receipt, your host reviews the purchase and decides how to reimburse you.
There are two reimbursement methods:
Through Hospitable: You receive reimbursement within two business days after your host approves the expense.
Outside Hospitable: Your host pays you directly using a method arranged between you.
You can check the reimbursement status in the Tasks App after your host reviews and pays the expense.
Supply reimbursements are separate from payments for completing tasks. Your task earnings and reimbursements for purchased supplies are handled as different payments.
