1. Prepaying for Cleanings

When you create an Autopilot cleaning task, you’ll see a breakdown of:

  • Cost per clean

  • Prepayment required

At setup, you’ll prepay 2× the total cost per clean.
This amount is added to your prepaid balance to cover your next two upcoming cleans.

👉 Example: If your cleaning cost is $97.50, you’ll prepay $195.00 upfront.

2. How Payments Work

  • After each clean, your cleaner is paid directly from your prepaid balance.

  • Immediately after, your payment method is automatically charged to top up your balance to 2× the cleaning cost. Please note that the funds will take 2 days to appear in the balance.

This means your prepaid balance always stays one step ahead—covering your next clean in advance.

3. Tracking Payments in Marketplace

Inside Settings → Marketplace, you’ll see your balance and payment activity.

Example:

  • You prepaid $195.00.

  • A clean occurs → $97.50 is deducted.

  • On the same day, we automatically charge your payment method $97.50 to restore your balance to $195.00.

This process repeats for every clean, ensuring your balance is always ready.

4. Managing Your Payment Method

  • You can change your payment method at any time.

  • If you switch, your prepaid balance is simply reassigned to the new method.

  • You can also add funds manually or withdraw them anytime.

5. What Happens If a Payment Fails?

If we cannot charge your payment method:

  • Your prepaid balance won’t update.

  • You’ll see a “Payment Failed” message.

  • Upcoming cleans will be paused until you resolve the issue.

To fix it:

  • Update your payment method, or

  • Retry the charge directly in Marketplace.

6. Key Things to Remember

  • Your prepaid balance always stays one clean ahead.

  • Cleaners are always paid from your prepaid balance.

  • If your balance can’t cover the next clean, service pauses until you add funds or update your payment method.

This system ensures cleaners are paid promptly and customers don’t risk missed cleanings due to insufficient funds.

Tip: You can always check your Marketplace settings to view your balance, payment history, and manage your payment method.
