How to Connect an Airbnb Account

How do I connect my Airbnb account to Hospitable?

Connecting Airbnb to Hospitable using the official integration allows Hospitable to manage your listing details, calendar, messaging, and reservations automatically.

Follow the steps below to complete the connection successfully.


Before You Start

Make sure:

  • You are logged into the correct Airbnb account.

  • Your Airbnb profile is complete (verified email address and profile photo).

  • The Airbnb account is not already connected to another Hospitable account.

Note: An Airbnb account can only be connected to one Hospitable account at a time. You cannot split listings from the same Airbnb account across multiple Hospitable accounts.

If you log into Airbnb using Google, Facebook, or another social login, you must first create a password.

To create a password:

  1. Enter your email address

  2. Follow the instructions in the email

  3. Set a password for your Airbnb account

We recommend using a different password for Airbnb and Hospitable.


Step 1: Log in to Airbnb

Open Airbnb in your browser and log in to the account you want to connect.

Keep this tab open.


Step 2: Connect Airbnb in Hospitable

  1. Open a new browser tab and log in to Hospitable

  2. Go to Settings ⚙️ > Channel connections

  3. Click Connect with Airbnb

  4. Confirm you are logged in to the correct Airbnb account

  5. Click Connect

  6. Click Allow to authorize the connection

Review and Import Listings

After authorization, you’ll see a success page showing detected listings.

  1. Review the properties found

  2. Choose which listings to import

  3. If you do not want to manage a listing in Hospitable, select Mute this property on Hospitable

  4. Click Continue

If the connection fails, click Try Again.


If You Are Not the Listing Owner

If you are not the Primary Listing Admin (Listing Owner):

  • Click Invite Primary Accounts to request access

  • Or connect directly using the Listing Owner’s Airbnb login credentials

Limited Connection Option

If your Airbnb account is already connected to another property management software and you only want to use Hospitable in a limited capacity:

  • Select Already connected to other management software? You can still use Hospitable in a limited capacity by connecting here at the bottom of the connection screen.

Note: A limited connection does not provide full calendar control on Hospitable.

After Connecting

Once connected:

  • Hospitable will manage listing details, availability, reservations, and messaging.

  • You do not need an iCal connection if using the official PMS integration.

  • Availability and reservation updates will sync automatically.

Please allow up to 30 minutes for past guest conversations to import.

Note: Conversations may not appear immediately, but new reservations and message triggers will still be detected during the import process.

After clicking Thanks, I’m Finished for Now, you will be redirected to your dashboard.


Host Fee Structure Changes

If your Airbnb account switches from a split-fee structure to a host-only fee structure during connection, Hospitable will automatically adjust markup rates to prevent payout disruption.

Connecting Additional Airbnb Accounts

To connect another Airbnb account:

  1. Log out of Airbnb

  2. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 above for the additional account
