Common scenarios
"I want my co-host to be able to manage my listings and respond to guests." → You need a Secondary User. Set one up here.
"I want my cleaner to get notified before their cleaning task." → You need a Teammate and task reminders or task notifications.
"I want the property owner to see how their listing is performing in a snapshot, but not change anything." → You need an Owner's Portal.
"I want to give someone full access to everything in my account." → A Secondary User with full permissions is the closest option. Note that some actions (such as billing changes) are restricted to the account holder only.
"I manage properties for multiple owners. How do I set this up?" → Choose the options you need based on the questions above. Then, repeat for your other owners.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can one person be both a Secondary User and a Teammate?
Yes, you can add the same person as both a secondary user and teammate. To do this, invite them using the same email address.
Can I switch someone from a Secondary User to a Teammate (or vice versa)?
Since a user can be both a secondary user and a teammate, you don't need to switch from one to the other. However, if you no longer wish for a person to have certain access, you can delete them as a secondary user or teammate. Then, add them to the role you prefer.
Do any of these options cost extra?
The Host, Professional, and Mogul plans offer unlimited access to secondary users and teammates. Only Mogul plan users have access to the Owner's Portal. You can compare plans here.

To share task details, you should them a Teammate under Operations, or you can give them access to certain areas of your Hospitable account via a customized login.

Teammates can receive Emails and SMS notifications for task notifications and task reminders. Teammates and their profiles are created under Operations.
How can I assign someone a task?
Teammates can be assigned tasks and alerted to them via SMS and/or email. They will also have a customized iCal for their assigned tasks, which they can upload to their preferred calendar app.
Teammates do not have direct access to your Hospitable account; they cannot log into Hospitable. Learn how to create a new teammate!
I need to give someone full or limited access to my Hospitable account
User management allows you to invite others to join your Hospitable account as secondary users, with their own separate email and password. You control the permissions for each of these invited users, with full or limited access to features and properties. For example, you can limit a user to view only tasks.
They can download the Hospitable app on their phones and enable notifications for when a guest messages you. They will receive push notifications for new incoming guest messages, provided they have Inbox permission and are scoped to the property which the guest booked. Invite a new secondary user to your account.
Can I share my login details instead of adding a secondary user?
We do not recommend sharing login details with anyone. This is a security risk. Instead, invite someone as a secondary user with full access. In the event that it's needed down the line, you can remove their access to ensure the safety and security of your account.
